NITE creates interdisciplinary, energetic and innovative theatre. Performances are energetic, musical and hyper topical. NITE is one of the four major theatre companies in the ‘basic infrastructure’ (BIS). The company is at the forefront of the sector-wide change towards innovation and broadening within theatre. 

The permanent ensembles of NITE (actors) and Club Guy & Roni (dancers) work intensively together, making the shared house De Machinefabriek the largest interdisciplinary theater house in the Netherlands. In collaboration with music ensembles Asko|Schönberg and HIIIT, the ensemble is reinforced with a permanent group of musicians. Each ensemble member excels in their own discipline, but is open to collaboration. In the large interdisciplinary performances directed by Guy Weizman, artistic director of NITE, no single discipline predominates. An entirely new form emerges. A theater form that grows and evolves the longer the ensembles work together.
