Kate Lehane

Research Intern, University of Groningen

Kate Lehane is a Research Master student in Spatial Science at the University of Groningen. With an academic background in International Relations, her early research explored the relationship between public toilets, embodied citizenship, and perceptions of public space, particularly in relation to ontological security. This sparked a shift in disciplinary focus and led her to the Faculty of Spatial Science where she now investigates the everyday experiences of the city through critical and creative lenses. Her research interests include critical theory, disability studies, participatory and creative methodologies.
