Mine Nilay Yalcin

Performing Artist

Mine Nilay Yalcin is a Norwegian/Turkish director, dramatist and performer based in Oslo. Her topics of interest in performance works are class struggle, cultural class difference, and diversity. She is concerned with everyone having access to performing arts, and that all citizens must be represented. Yalcin has worked in institutional theatres, independent companies with her own projects, and is teaching at the Nordic Black Express Theatre School in Oslo. She has worked extensively with street theatre as a tool to connect with local communities and urban environments.
