Emma Bates is a first-year Research Master student at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences at the RUG. Her background is in European Studies with an emphasis on EU climate policy, and her interested has now focused to social and economic degrowth and cultural understandings of consumption. She is also a fiber artist and hobbyist writer.
