Prof. Camilla Eeg-Tverbakk

Camilla Eeg-Tverbakk is a practicing dramaturg within interdisciplinary performing arts, and professor in drama and theatre at Oslo Metropolitan University. Her research interests are dramaturgy in the applied field, documentary material, theatre and therapy, ethics, and performance activism. She holds an MA in Performance Studies from New York University, and a PhD from Roehampton University/ London where she developed the concept 'Theatre-ting', which is a meeting between the possibilities offered by the spaces of theatre and new materialism, post-human perspectives, and documentary material. The concept offers a dramaturgical structure and method to rehearse ethics in dialogue with local participants, engaging in themes and topics concerning societal structures. Eeg-Tverbakk is leading the research group for Artistic Research at Institute for Art, Design and Drama at OsloMet.
